アップルストアの商品名に「for Apple Wireless Keyboard, iPad and iPad 2」が付加されている通り、ただの『Apple Wireless Keyboard』専用ケースではない。アップルストアの説明文では、
折り紙のように折り曲げられ、iPadを程よい傾きで立て掛けられるので、Workstationのように使うことができます。
iPadは水平にも垂直にも立て掛けることができます、またケースを装着したままセットできるので、とても便利です。
キーボードケースとしても十分な強度もあり、持ち歩きに心配なキーボードも安心して持ち歩くことができます。
とある通り、『iPad』を水平にも垂直どちらにも立て掛けて使用する事ができる。自分は『iPad』で長文のメールを打つ場合は、『Apple Wireless Keyboard』を使用している。
