まるで手描きのようなCGとは思えないような表現ができるペイントソフト。
自分好みのブラシをせっせと作成。
備忘録
テンプレート（Mac OS／Corel Painter 11）
はがきやA4サイズの印刷用などをいちいち新規作成しなくても、テンプレートとして保存すれば手間が省ける。
新規作成したファイルを「アプリケーション > Corel Painter 11 > Support Files > テンプレート」に保存すれば、ファイル→テンプレートを開くから選択して作成する事が出来る。

カラーパレットの拡大縮小（Mac OS／Corel Painter 11）
Painter 11からカラーパレットを拡大縮小できるようになったので、サイズが大きいディスプレイでも微妙な色を選択できるようになった。
まず、カラーパレットのウィンドウを他のウィンドウから分離する。
それから右下のハンドルを引っ張ってサイズ調整をする。
ブラシカテゴリの作成（Mac OS／Corel Painter 11）
カスタムブラシを作成したら一つのブラシカテゴリにまとめた方が効率が良い。
その為には自作のブラシカテゴリを作成する必要がある。
その方法は、
「アプリケーション > Corel Painter 11 > Brushes > Painter Brushes」フォルダにフォルダを作成し、フォルダと同名のアイコンを作成（30ピクセル×30ピクセル：拡張子はjpg）してフォルダと同階層に置く。
これで準備は出来たので、
後はPainter11を起動するとブラシカテゴリに作成したフォルダとアイコンが表示されるので、後はバリアントの保存でそのブラシカテゴリに追加していけば良い。
ちなみに追加したブラシは「ライブラリ > Application Support > Corel > Painter 11 > デフォルト > Brushes > Painter Brushes > 作成したフォルダ名」
カスタムブラシを特定のカテゴリに保存するには（Mac OS／Corel Painter 11）
カスタムブラシを作成して「バリアントの保存」を行うとその元になったブラシカテゴリに保存される。
ブラシクリエイターなどで作成したカスタムブラシを特定のカテゴリに保存するには、「バリアントのコピー」を選択する。
すると「バリアントのコピー先」としてカテゴリ一覧がプルダウンで表示されるので、保存したいカテゴリを選択する。
